Hayley & Çagatay

We were super excited about Hayley & Çagatay's brewery wedding! The setting fit their relaxed personalities and accommodated the eclectic guest list perfectly. The openness of the brewery’s indoor and outdoor space paired well with the warm sunny weather. We’re always looking for unusual scenery and this place really nailed it - from the behind-the-scenes fermenters to the old warehouse with overgrown ivy and vines - it was full of character.

Those who could make it, traveled across the country and the world to celebrate with Hayley and Çagatay- for those who couldn’t, thankfully there was video chat! It was really fun to hear Çagatay, his mom, family and friends speaking to each other in Turkish and watch them light up and dance whenever the DJ played their a favorite Turkish songs! While we couldn’t understand most of their conversations, the sounds and inflections of their language was familiar and full of love! This was sentimental for us because, in addition to our elopement in Scotland, Shaun and I also had a Turkish wedding ceremony with his mother’s side of the family in Ankara 9 years ago!

At the end of the night we felt like we were part of their circle of friends and even danced along to a favorite song with them!
